Desarrollo y evaluación de competencias en Educación Superior

DEVELOPMENT AND EVALUATION OF COMPETENCIES IN HIGHER EDUCATION. This book is written in a moment of big changes and of important social and  educational reforms, in contexts of Secondary Education as well as in  Higher Education, in the European Space of Superior Education (EEES).  These changes demand an educational model centered in learning and in  the integral formation of students, which implies a change of role for both the teacher as well as for the student, with the consequent rethinking of competencies in Superior Education. The authors contribute the definition, development and evaluation of generic competencies that they propose to develop in the university student. They propose as key competencies, planning of objectives, responsibility, critical thinking, team work, oral communication, creativity and innovation, interpersonal understanding and communication skills, as well as the use of the IT in the search and elaboration of information, the handling of the interculturality in the classroom, negotiation and conflict management.

 Ascensión BLANCO es Doctora en Psicología por la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Máster en gestión de Recursos Humanos y experta en formación para el desarrollo de habilidades directivas, coaching y orientación a la profesión. Licenciada de Grado en Psicología por la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. En la actualidad es responsable de la Acción tutorial en la Universidad Europea de Madrid y miembro de la Red Nacional de Mentoría Universitaria.
